Okra is rich in nutrients and antioxidants. There are different ways to make okra as a side dish for rice, chapati, and roti. This is an easy recipe. When you stir fry in a pan, you have to stir and wait until the stickiness goes away. But, this recipe is easy and you don't need to worry about the stickiness. I usually cut them at least 2 hours in advance and let it air-dry. You can also cut them the night before and let it air-dry so that it won't stick to each other. Let us dive into the recipe.

Ingredients:
Okra - 1 lb (1/2 Kg)
Besan flour - 1/2 cup
rice flour - 11/2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder -1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt- as required.
Oil - 3tbsp
Water - as required
Steps:
Wash and pat dry the okra with a tissue or a kitchen towel. Cut them into long slices and let it air-dry for 2 hours.
In a bowl, mix all the masalas, oil and mix well. Now add water little by little and bring to a thick consistency.
Now add the okra to the bowl and coat it with the masala mixture.
Preheat oven to 400F. In a baking tray spray some oil and scatter the okra pieces. Spray a little oil on the top.
Bake in the oven for 15 -20 minutes or until it is crispy.
You can also fry the okra instead of baking it. This can be served as an appetizer or as a side dish for rice, chapati. Enjoy!
