Avaraikkai poriyal
Ingredients
Flat valor – 250 gm
Onion – 1 small
Red chilli powder – 2tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coconut – 1tsp
To temper
Mustard – 1tsp
Urad dal – 1tsp
Curry leaves – few
Steps
1. Wash the flat valor and remove the edges and cut them into small pieces
2. Add some water, salt and turmeric and cook until it becomes tender
3. Now in a pan add a tablespoon of oil and temper with items mentioned under temper. Now add onions and fry till it becomes translucent.
4. Add the boiled flat valor and mix it well. Now add red chilli powder and sprinkle some water and cook for a minute
5. Add in some coconut and mix it well
